Friday's Spit walk was like walking in the eye of a storm. Curious puffy clouds hovered over the Chugach Mountains, across Kachemak Bay, and black rain clouds, accompanied by colorful rainbows, were at our back. They shrouded the east end of town and Fritz Creek areas, over in my bud's neighborhood. There's lots of freshly fallen snow on the mountain tops. Today we walked below a crystal blue sky.

The winds will blow their own freshness into you,
and the storms their energy,
while cares will drop away from you
like the leaves of Autumn.
~Fall poem by John Muir

I can't believe you were in the blue sky! In your last picture, see those dark clouds? My house was sitting right under that! See You Monday!
