"K" and the assistant dudes enjoyed an afternoon of lake fishing together. They all love fishing for those land-locked silver salmon and rainbow trout.
Typical lunch/snack prep, around 2AM, ready to be put in the guys cars....
They're tired and full of many stories...."K" and "the Mr." continue doing their guiding, day after day.
Meanwhile, I get to sneak away for a pedicure with "T" this week. Wow, our feet really needed it after our spitage walk last Saturday. This, after all, is part of our athletic training.
Many thanks to my friendly and courteous pedicurist, and to my sweet friend for the gift certificate! What a wonderful treat!
"Happy to run into this week": The Glacierview girls (!) were hanging out together in my fav coffee shop in town! How nice to see them both. "H", on the right, is here visiting from Spokane, Wa., where it is hotter than a blast furnace right now. She is happy to be in the epicenter of coolness, (that would be Homer, Alaska), and is telling everyone the happy news that she and her husband are due with their first baby in December! Well, how extremely wonderful! These two girls are precious friends, enjoying a little time together. They are jewels! Just look at those smiles!
The fishermen are hitting the Ninilchik River once more, where they can keep the hatchery King Salmon. "K" and "the Mr." are leaving the house daily at 2:15 AM, just as I am getting their eats tucked away in the car.
